Play as a brother or sister, fans of role-playing games that put their rivalry at the heart of the game. Your goal is to reach the end of the game, while your sibling's role will be to prevent you from doing so by placing obstacles in your path.
Sibling's Adventure is a single-player rogue like game based on RPGs mecanics.


Character Design
Main Character

The main characters are a brother and a sister : the player can chose them at the beginning of the game.
All the characters in the game are pawns. The player moves their character as if on a board game.
The characters are dressed in pieces of fabric, modelling clay and cardboard that the children find around them.

Enemies
In the game, there are many enemies, you have to fight to go at the next case or the next biomes.

Early concepts of enemies

> We wanted an enemy a bit silly, who is trapped in a bag. I started by trying to make a bin bag, but it turned into a picnic bag as I researched further.

> After that, we wanted to continue finding basic enemies, so I worked on a kind of blob. I had the idea of working on the shape of a luminescent jellyfish.

> To complete a level, you have to defeat a boss. The first boss I wanted to work on was the Dragon boss. It's a soft toy that the characters in the game are particularly fond of. Through this character, I had to successfully convey the childish and silly aspect of a soft toy for children.
Environment
The environment is designed as if children had made the assets themselves, using modelling clay, cardboard, paper, papier-mâché, etc. Everything that children use to have fun but also to develop their senses.
